WOKC Okeechobee's True Country has been serving the Okeechobee County area for over 50 years. Bringing a mix of classic and today's Country hits, from George Jones to Miranda Lambert, we have em all! WOKC has an array of programs from The Morning Show with Billy Dean and The Sports Grill with Billy and Ken to the Yard Sale Saturday with Taylor Marie from 7-11am and The Country Store every weekday 9:30-10am & 3:30-4pm! WAFC-FM is “106.1FM Radio Fiesta”- Regional Mexican station of Glades Media Radio Group & BMZ Broadcasting in South Florida. WAFC-FM, located in Okeechobee is the only 24 hour Spanish Music station that is targeting St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties. South Florida is a large agricultural area. A majority of the workers in the agricultural business are Mexican. Due to the large population growth of Hispanics in this area, more and more of the businesses are recognizing the need to reach the Mexican population. Our programming begins from Monday through Friday with our syndicated show “El Genio Lucas”, followed by our local show and talented Selene Sandoval from 12pm-3pm. Our evenings are animated with the presence of our two hosts, Francisco “Paco” Sangabriel and Bertin Cruz from 3pm-6pm, and our nights are full of prank calls, news and entertainment with our syndicated show “Erazno y la Chokolata” from 6pm-10pm.
