    About Us

Thank you for your interest in the Guardian ad Litem Program. We stand strong with over 375 volunteers in Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast because of people like you, who want to make a difference i

We have children that are waiting for a volunteer to advocate for them until they return home or are adopted.
Our volunteers work hard to get to know our children and teens in order to get them the resources they need!
Most times our volunteers are the one consistent adult in that child's life.
Volunteers advocate for children and teens in court about 4 times a year.
Our volunteers bond and build relationships with our kids!
Many time when kids in foster care move from home to home all they have is a trash bag of items.
Volunteers teach kids and teens social skills, emotional skills and life skills
A child having an advocate volunteer improves their education, moral and over quality of life.
    We need men volunteers!
Volunteers visit their child once a month minimally in school, programs or at home.
