TDC hosts the Florida Youth Livestock Expo

The Florida Youth Livestock Expo (FYLE) will be having it’s 4th Annual, 5 Day, Multi-Species Show starting on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. The state of Florida has multiple show circuits for all species of livestock- Cattle, Swine, Sheep and Goats; Exhibitors dedicate their time to competing in these individual circuits that happen throughout the Fall. With the exception of the State and County Fairs, there are very few events in the Southeastern United States that allow exhibitors across all species of livestock to attend the same show to join in on competition and fellowship; FYLE provides exhibitors with that unique opportunity. FYLE will attract exhibitors from all over the Southeastern United States. This event will bring 3,000+ people into Okeechobee County, these guests will stay in hotels, dine in our restaurants, and visit many businesses around town. FYLE aspires to become one of the largest youth livestock show events in the Southeastern United States. Over the past four years our number of exhibitors have increased, so this year we are proud to announce that we will be awarding several scholarships to event participants.
