Description
The Chamber of Commerce of Okeechobee County, City of Okeechobee, Florida Trail Association and Okeechobee County Tourist Development Council are pleased to reveal the first Gateway Community Kiosk! The kiosk will be housed on the Visitor Center grounds (Chamber/TDC Office) and will display pertinent information for those visiting the area with 24/7 access even when the offices are closed.
The main purpose of the Florida Trail Kiosk project is to post information about the section of the Florida Trail closest to the Kiosk and the “Gateway Community” that the hikers are passing through. Additionally, with the Kiosk being placed in such a central location, visitors to the area and to the state can learn about a wonderful outdoor adventure they may have never known existed!
Please join us tomorrow, Tuesday, April 6th at 4:30 PM on the Chamber Property (Visitor’s Center) for a ribbon cutting presentation at the Kiosk. The Visitor’s Center is located at 55 S Parrott Ave. Okeechobee, FL 34972. RSVP is encouraged and easy just follow the link provided!
