Join the Chamber, County & City for our Business Exchange Luncheon next week on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019 from 11:45 AM – 1:00 PM at Indian River State College Dixon-Hendry Campus (Williamson Center - 2229 NW 9th Ave. Okeechobee, FL 34972) sponsored by CenterState Bank.
In a crisis you pick up the phone and dial the familiar numbers you learned as early as kindergarten and help is on the way. Maybe it's an accident in town, on the highway or a fall, who will be there to lend a helping hand? In the next five minutes as you answer questions and relay information, a team of highly trained professionals are working together to get to you and be prepared to help you overcome your new found obstacle. The men, women and fur friends who are Okeechobee’s First Responders and our many Veteran's will be recognized as our Community Heroes. We will have several speakers sharing their stories and helping us to understand the many ways that they protect our community each and every day. The world we live in today can be scary if we are not prepared! .
